Men’s Fashion

Clothes Make the Man

Origin Studios developed the exhibition design for Men’s Fashion: Clothes Make the Man, transforming static displays into theatrical vignettes that filled garments with life and movement. Working with a theatrical designer, Origin Studios created elegant, dynamic presentations where magnified details became striking backgrounds, inviting a closer look.

To protect the collection without glass cases, layered graphic panels formed subtle barriers that integrated seamlessly with the rest of the design. Labels were positioned below the objects to preserve clean sightlines. Clothing of contrasting styles was displayed together for visual drama, while fragile pieces were placed in the foreground for visibility. Accessories were displayed contextually, and rich colours and textures from the garments animated the space within conservation lighting limits.
