New Project with Art Gallery of Sudbury

Origin Studios is pleased to announce a new exhibit design project for the Art Gallery of Sudbury’s upcoming summer exhibition “For Better or For Worse: The Comic Art of Lynn Johnston.” The travelling exhibition, opening at the Art Gallery of Sudbury this July, will trace Lynn Johnston’s artistic career and document the popularity of her For Better or For Worse comic strip through original artwork, personal and commercial objects, and, of course, the comic strip itself.

​Design Complete for Canadian Museum of Immigration at Pier 21

Origin Studios’ design for the new permanent exhibitions at the Canadian Museum of Immigration at Pier 21, Halifax, Nova Scotia, is now being fabricated by project lead kubik Inc. of Toronto. In addition to renewing the existing Pier 21 gallery, the 18,000 square foot museum will include a new Canadian Immigration Story exhibition that tells the stories of people who come to Canada and their impact on our nation. The Museum is currently closed for the installation and will be re-opening in May 2015.
