The primary design challenge of On A Pedestal: From Renaissance Chopines to Baroque Heels was creating an immersive, period-inspired environment. Origin Studios began with custom wallpaper reflecting the era’s palette and motifs, added organizational structure through purchased columns, and designed ornate arches and profiles. The result was intimate spaces that highlighted the richness of the displays, inspired by Venetian courtyards and aligned with the client’s vision. Origin Studios also designed the exhibition catalogue and marketing materials, including a poster featuring a column‑like shoe and a typographic window offering a glimpse of the decadent materials on display.
