The directive for this project was to apply museum learning principles to create a corporate gallery that celebrates the firm’s rich cultural history. A family-owned leader in Canadian technology, the company envisioned a visitor centre at its headquarters to engage employees, guests, and visitors with its story, community impact, and legacy.

Origin Studios designed the exhibition in two main sections connected by an interactive touch-wall timeline. Thematic groupings such as “Community” and “Technology” organize stories, objects, and media, while the timeline anchors the company’s historical narrative.

Highlights include a data visualization station transforming corporate data into interactive displays and large touch-screen walls. An immersive theatre hosts special event screenings, while an interactive digital sculpture and traditional graphic panels provide balance. Artifacts and stories—ranging from personal family histories to fibre optic network data—bring depth and texture. A series of smaller touchscreens invites visitors to explore curated collections of archival images, texts, and videos in a more personal setting.
